Andreas Hecht - guitar
is one of the most sensitive and versatile musicians I know, and a genuine virtuoso.
He’s had various compositions of his own published, such as some beautiful songs for children, recorded with the singer Nadya Aische. Some of my songs were also cowritten by him.
We met through work at a music school in 2003, and from the first moment we played together we knew this was exactly how it should be.

Aurel Bantzer - percussion
Singer/songwriter Kyoka Ines invited me to share a concert evening with her, and that’s where I first met Aurel. He’s been a member of the band right from the beginning, so we experienced all the first teething pains together.
Aurel is a multitalented artist, a filmmaker, scriptwiter, singer/songwriter and percussionist, as well as being a very nice person.
He’s our master of atmosphere, and I just love the way he plays tabukar.

Martin Drees
- bass
and I have known each quite some years and I had the pleasure of singing with him occasionally very early on.
He plays an electric bass guitar built by his own hands, which has a wonderful, warm sound. He plays funk, fusion, Indian music, Turkish and Kurdish music, Jazz, Rock, Soul…
Martin joined us in 2006, his versatility, virtuosity and his unfailing sense of groove giving the band another whole new kick.

Cesar Ferreira - drums
was recommended to me by two friends independently of each other, in 2006. I’m so glad, too, because it’s a real pleasure playing with him. He’s a very attentive and modest musician.
As a drummer he’s very melodious and musical. His playing is tight, skilful and dynamic.
It’s won him prizes too, such as the “King of Drum Cesar do Brasil”. I guess first prize in a country like Brazil has gotta be saying something…
